The replacement process of the hydraulic Brake Booster starts with draining power steering fluid followed by removing the Brake Master Cylinder. Start by removing the power steering fluid hose from the power steering fluid reservoir section at the hydraulic power Brake Booster before disconnecting the inlet and outlet hoses connected to the power Brake Booster. The power Brake Booster pushrod together with retaining nuts allow you to take out the power Brake Booster and its gasket. The new gasket should attach first to the power Brake Booster before reinstalling it into the vehicle. Fasten the retaining nuts so they achieve a torque of 36 nm (27 ft. Lbs.). After installing the power Brake Booster pushrod proceed to attach the inlet hose before tightening it at 36 nm (27 ft. Lbs.) then complete by connecting the outlet hose with the same torque specifications. The power steering fluid reservoir hose needs new clamps for attachment to the power Brake Booster before tightening the fitting to 36 nm (27 ft. Lbs.). Reinstallation of the Brake Master Cylinder should be accompanied by power steering system bleeding procedures.
