A vehicle lift should be used and then the Fuel Tank vent hose connection must be wiped clean before removing the fuel filler tube and clamp. The Fuel Tank installation requires a cleaning of the fuel filler tube connection before fuel filler tube and clamp separation. Disconnect the attaching screws that hold the fuel tube before removing the fuel filler tube. To avoid Fuel Tank disconnection, install the Fuel Tank filler neck clamps with proper positioning and alignment.
