  A: Start wiper motor replacement by removing both wiper arms and opening the air inlet grille panel. Remove the 4 bolts holding the wiper drive module before disconnecting its electrical connector from the wiper motor. Detach the wiper motor crank arm connection using the Wiper Transmission Separator part number J 39232. Detach the wiper motor by removing its 2 screws and sliding it out from the wiper drive system module. Place the wiper motor onto the wiper drive system module and fasten it with 2 bolts secured at 8 N.m (71 lb in). Attach the wiper drive link to the motor crank arm with the Wiper Transmission Installer J 39529 tool before putting back the wiper drive system and fastening it with 4 bolts that should turn to 8 N.m (71 lb in). Connect the wiper motor electrical connector before putting back the air inlet grille panel and wiper arms. Complete the test by running the wipers to verify if they work properly.
