To install the gripper system the washer must be combined with spacer and striker placing the striker onto the lock pillar so that its narrow side faces outward towards the specified marks that were made when stripping it away. Screw in the striker fasteners while aligning the door striker until they reach 28 N.m (21 lb ft).
