Apply a grease pencil mark to indicate the door striker position on the pillar followed by removing the fasteners and proceding to remove the striker then spacer and washer. Place the washer and spacer together with the striker by positioning the striker on the lock pillar where the marks indicate with its narrow portion pointing outside. Secure the striker fasteners and carefully align the door striker until the fasteners reach 28 N.m but no higher than 21 lb ft.
