How to service the Ignition Control Module on 2003 Buick LeSabre?

Disconnect the 14-way connector from the Ignition Control Module (ICM) after turning the ignition off to service this module. Begin service by taking note of the coil assembly wire positions then unplug them from the coils. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the coil retaining screws which hold the coil assemblies to the icm before removing both coil assemblies and icm from their bracket. Once installed begin by attaching the coils and the Ignition Control Module to the bracket and secure them with screws while tightening them to 4.5 n.m (40 lb in). Rejoin the module to its power source by connecting the Spark Plug Wires to the 14-way connector then tighten the screw to 2.1 n.m (19 lb in).
