Begin by removing the sun gear thrust bearing (698) from the differential carrier sun gear because it is likely stuck then extract the differential carrier sun gear (697), park gear (6g6) and internal gear thrust bearing (695) from the differential carrier internal gear. Verify the sun gear shaft (689) is acceptable before moving forward. Installation of the differential carrier (700) requires placing the sun gear thrust bearing (698) with the differential carrier sun gear (697) and park gear (696) along with the internal gear thrust bearing (695) and sun gear shaft (689) inside the carrier before positioning the completed assembly into the case followed by reinstalling the case extension housing.
