  A: To clean Throttle Body you first remove the air cleaner outlet duct and the air inlet screen if it is applicable. Inspect the throttle valve bore and the throttle valve plate for deposits by opening the throttle valve to expose all the surfaces. The top civilian do not immerse clean assemblies with throttle position (TP), idle air control (IAC) valve, or sealed throttle shaft bearings with volcano solvents, receivers damages electric components, wax or o-rings; solvents may also strip non-serviceable throttle shaft bearings. Do not employ wire brush or scraper as such can harm the components and avoid solvents with methyl ethyl ketone can harm components.if the deposits are too much, then for cleaning you have to disassemble the Throttle Body using a parts cleaning brush though don't dip it in any cleaning solvent.
