How to replace the rear door window regulator on 2003 Cadillac CTS?

Starting the replacement of the rear door Window Regulator requires users to fully open the window and remove the door trim panel first. Place the water deflector aside before affixing tape across the window in its maximum height position. Connect the door trim panel wire harness connector before loosening the Window Regulator to window clamp nuts by 4 revolutions. The Power Window Switch will lower the Window Regulator about halfway before disconnecting the electrical connector of the power Window Motor and undoing the Window Regulator bolts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5). Pull the Window Regulator from the door panel by entering the rear hidden opening. Follow the fastener notice while inserting the Window Regulator through the rear access hole of the door opening for installation. The installation process requires to fasten and tighten Window Regulator bolts with 9 nm torque setting for each bolt (1, 2, 3, 4, 5). Insert the window through the Window Regulator clamps after removing tape from its edges then plug in the power Window Motor electrical connector. Turn on the vehicle to achieve maximum power for the Window Motor before raising the window to its highest position while torquing the clamp nuts to 11 nm (95 lb in). Test the window function and check for air leaks before ending the vehicle check. As the last step install the door trim panel together with the water deflector.
