• Q: How to service the wheel bearing and hub with RPO FE7 on 2003 Cadillac DeVille?

  A: Begin servicing the Wheel Bearing and hub that comes with rpo fe7 by first raising the vehicle and supporting it structurally. Second remove tire and wheel and brake rotor. First disconnect the ABS Sensor wire connector and Parking Brake Cable from the lower Control Arm before removing the ABS Sensor. Begin by removing the Wheel Bearing and hub retaining bolts in combination with the wheel speed sensor reluctor ring. Wheel Bearing service requires Wheel Bearing nut and washer removal from the hub while the brake shield and Wheel Bearing also need to be removed from the hub. Before installing the Wheel Bearing system begin by positioning the bearing onto the hub followed by the brake shield installation while following the fastener notice in service precautions. Install the washer then the Wheel Bearing nut before tightening it to 200 nm (147 ft. Lbs.). Clean the lower Control Arm face and bore then install the Wheel Bearing and hub on its corresponding surface by tightening the retaining bolts to 118 nm torque (87 ft. Lbs.). First install a newly replaced ABS Sensor alongside its reluctor ring followed by the brake rotor followed by connecting the ABS Sensor wire and finishing with the wheel after tire installation.
