How to replace the lower ball joint on a coil spring suspension on 2003 Cadillac Escalade?

Before fixing the lower Ball Joint on coil spring suspension vehicles users need to lift and stabilize the vehicle followed by uninstalling the tire and wheel set. From there disconnect the lower Control Arm and fasten it into a portable vice device. Punch the rivet heads at their centers then drill them to remove the lower Ball Joint. Mount the new Ball Joint onto the lower Control Arm first. Following this, connect the replacement bolts and fasten them with nuts before tightening them to 70 n.m (52 lb ft). When finished let the lower Control Arm escape from the bench vice and replace it before reinstalling the tire and wheel assembly. Take out the safety stands and let the vehicle descend before checking the wheel alignment.
