    A: You must raise and hold the vehicle before disassembling the tire wheel assembly and lower Control Arm so you can switch out the lower Ball Joint on a vehicle with its torsion bar suspension. Position the Control Arm in a vise clamp and use a chisel to remove the clips from the joint body only when they exist. Set the Ball Joint into the press tool to detach it from the lower Control Arm. Insert the new Ball Joint through the outer flange into place and put the lower Control Arm back into the vice for installation. You can use a punch to attach crimps onto the Ball Joint after matching them with the original replacement parts. Insert the lower Control Arm first and put back the tire and wheel unit afterward. With stands removed place the vehicle back to ground level and test the wheel alignment.
