How to replace the pitman arm on 2003 Cadillac Escalade?

In order to remove the pitman arm, lift up the car and hold it, then take out the power steering gear and place it into a vise. The pitman arm is detached with a puller. Install the new pitman arm, washer and nut provided then refit the power steering gear and adjust the wheel alignment.
