  A: The accumulator replacement process begins with refrigerant recovery then followed by repositioning the cruise control bracket when choosing to equip it. Access the two bracket holding nuts of the pcm module and relocate the bracket while setting the module to the side. The accumulator's refrigerant tubes require removal followed by disposal of the old o-ring seals. First remove the accumulator bracket followed by removing the accumulator from inside the vehicle. Installation requires placing the new accumulator unit followed by the addition of correct refrigerant oil volume. After installing the accumulator bracket clamp tighten its bolt to 8 n.m (71 lb in). New o-ring seals must be installed on the refrigerant lines before attaching the lines to the accumulator. The accumulator fitting nuts should be fastened to 35 n.m (26 lb ft) torque whilst connecting the accumulator tube with the compressor tube. Secure the bracket which holds the pcm module onto the shock tower before installing its bracket nuts with a torque of 10 n.m (89 lb in).
