The initial step for replacing an A/C accumulator demands refrigerant recovery and must preserve the existing nuts and ferrules on the line. To begin replace the A/C accumulator you must first loosen the accumulator nuts then take out the accumulator. Clean 525 viscosity refrigerant oil should be used to lubricate O-rings before they are installed onto the evaporator tube. Install the A/C accumulator with facing arrow toward the evaporator while having the liquid line positioned at the bottom of the accumulator slot. Secure the accumulator nuts evenly at 15 N.m (11 lb ft). Conduct an evacuation and recharging operation on the A/C system before conducting the J 39400-A leak test on component fittings before completing the lowering of the vehicle.
