  A: Start replacement by removing the air cleaner parts before you detach the master cylinder's mounting nuts. Push the master cylinder and valve forward until the Brake Booster studs become free of hindrance while taking care to keep brake pipes straight. Unplug the vacuum hose connector from the vacuum check valve before you remove the Brake Booster nuts. To disconnect the Brake Booster pushrod from the Brake Pedal tilt the Brake Booster and let it avoid pressure on the pushrod assembly. Also drop the Brake Pedal retaining clip and washer. Insert the pushrod into the Brake Pedal through Brake Booster's tilted position. Install the new Brake Booster onto its appropriate vehicle placement. Connect the vacuum hose to the vacuum check valve while tightening vacuum Brake Booster mounting nuts to 27 nm (20 lb ft).
