  A: The replacement process of mass air flow (MAF) sensor starts by removing the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve tube from the air cleaner intake duct before unhooking both the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector and maf sensor electrical connector. Move forward by loosening the clamps at points (2, 6) to remove the air cleaner intake duct containing the maf sensor from the Throttle Body while also removing the air cleaner housing cover. You must loosen the maf sensor clamp before you can pull it free from the air cleaner intake duct. The installation requires attaching the maf sensor to the air cleaner intake duct but users must tighten the clamp to 2 n.m (18 lb in). Place the maf sensor-equipped air cleaner intake duct onto the Throttle Body and air cleaner housing cover and tighten clamps at 2 n.m (18 lb in). Reattach the electrical connector to both the maf sensor and iat sensor and then reposition the pcv valve tube through the air cleaner intake duct.
