How to replace the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on 2003 Chevrolet SSR?

To replace the mass air flow (MAF)/intake manifold temperature (IMT) sensor, you should start by opening the hood and getting the electrical connection disconnected from the maf/imt sensor. Then, take out the air cleaner outlet duct and loosen the clamp that holds the maf/imt to the upper air box. Take caution to remove the maf/imt sensor from the vehicle. First for installation locate the maf/imt onto the upper air box and tighten clamp to 4n.m (35lb in). After that, install the air cleaner outlet duct back to the car and reconnect the electrical connector to maf/imt sensor and close the hood.
