To replace mass air flow (MAF)/intake manifold temperature (IMT) sensor, you need to open the hood and extract the breather pipe from the air intake duct. Next, you need to remove the maf/imt sensor electrical connector, loosen the clamps on the air intake duct, and remove the duct itself. Next, remove the maf/imt sensor and clamp from the air cleaner assembly. For installation, fit the maf/imt sensor and clamp back into the air cleaner assembly, the air intake duct and clamps, tightening the clamps to 2-4 n.m (35 lb in), as specified in the fastener notice in service precautions. After tightening, reconnect the electrical connector, reinstall the breather pipe on the air intake duct, and finally close the hood.
