  Q: How to replace the Multifunction Turn Signal Switch Housing on Chevrolet SSR?

  A: Before replacing the multifunction Turn Signal Switch housing you need to disable the sir system according to restraint system disabling and enabling procedures. Take out the Steering Wheel column first and proceed to disassemble the ignition lock and turn signal controls later. Slide off the Turn Signal Switch assembly by moving it over the steering column shaft. Press the Turn Signal Switch housing tightly against the steering column tilt head until screws from the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly line up. Place the Turn Signal Switch housing over the steering column shaft and fit the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly to it afterward. Put in the ignition lock cylinder case and return the Steering Wheel to its place on the column. Turn on the sir system following all steps in the restraint system disabling and enabling procedures after you finish the installation.
