How to replace the Back Up Light Switch on Chevrolet SSR?

In order to replace the back up lamp switch, first lift the vehicle. Unplug the back lamp switch electrical connector and pull off the retaining bolt on the back up lamp electrical connector bracket and feed it out. For installation, install the back up lamp switch and tighten it to 20 nm (14 ft. Lbs.). Mount the retaining bracket to the transmission and screw the retaining bolt to 10 nm (88 inch lbs). Lastly, restore the Back Up Light Switch and lower the vehicle.
