When replacing the Shift Cable make sure that the vehicle is in park. Take out the cable attached to the transmission lever and pull it off the bracket. Take the cable grommet and insert it into the floor panel and take the console and cable out of the floor control assembly. To install, reverse the process and ensure that it is functioning.
