Replacing the rear bumper fascia begins by taking out back up lamp sockets from housings followed by pulling out fascia push-pins and wheelhouse flange screws. Start by extracting the upper retaining bolts located at the rear section of fascia before removing the fascia from the vehicle body. Install the fascia by placing it against the vehicle impact bar while following the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Fasten the upper retaining bolts into the fascia before securing them at 2.5 N.m (22 lb in). You shouldtighten the screws that keep the fascia on wheelhouse flanges with 2 N.m (18 lb in) torque. If the back up lamp sockets need to be reinstalled you should properly seat the lower push-pins first.
