The process begins by lifting and sustaining the vehicle and then removing the tire and wheel from the left Engine Mount replacement area. The removal of the frontal propeller shaft stands as the first step for 4wd vehicle maintenance. The repair of this system begins by uninstalling Engine Mount to frame mounting bolts through the wheelwell but using any jack on the Oil Pan or sheet metal or crankshaft balancer will cause damage. A jack should be placed on the square tab at the engine block rear to lift the engine but just enough for Engine Mount removal. Install the front Engine Mount to the engine mounting bolts through the wheelwell before moving to the rear Engine Mount to the engine mounting bolts from under the vehicle while removing the Engine Mount from the vehicle. Place the Engine Mount inside the vehicle first and install the rear Engine Mount to the engine mounting bolts from underneath the vehicle while avoiding bolt tightening at this point. First install the front Engine Mount to the engine mounting bolts through the wheelwell and tighten the Engine Mount to engine mounting bolts to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). After installation through the wheelwell the frame mounting bolts must be secured to 60 nm (44 ft. Lbs.). The procedure for 4wd vehicles requires front propeller shaft reinstallation followed by tire and wheel installation before lowering the vehicle.
