Mount Bracket, Passenger Side

The first step to replace the right side Engine Mount bracket requires vehicle elevation and support. The installer should eliminate Engine Mount to Engine Mount bracket bolts while paying attention to avoid putting a jack beneath critical parts such as the Oil Pan or sheet metal or crankshaft balancer. Only position the engine at the height required to take the Engine Mount bracket off using a jack engaged to the square tab at the back of the engine block. The next task requires removing mounting nuts from the Engine Mount bracket before you extract it from the car. Place the Engine Mount bracket onto its original position and fasten the retaining nuts by tightening them to 45 nm (33 lb ft). After lowering the engine installation of the Engine Mount to its bracket bolts requires 60 nm (44 lb ft) torque before the vehicle reaches ground level.

Use a jack on the square tab at the rear of the engine block.

Remove the starter.

Remove the rear engine mount to engine mounting bolts from under the vehicle, and then take the engine mount out of the vehicle.

Remove the engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts.

Tighten these bolts to 60 N.m (44 lb ft) before finally lowering the vehicle.

Raise the engine only enough to allow for the removal of the engine mount, using adjustable (screw type) jackstands for support.

Raise and support the vehicle.

On the square tab at the rear of the engine block.

Position the engine mount bracket back onto the vehicle and install the retaining nuts, tightening them to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

Lower the engine and secure the engine mount to the frame mounting bolts, tightening to 60 Nm (44 lb ft).

Lower the engine and install the engine mount to the frame mounting bolts through the wheel well, tightening to 60 Nm (44 lb ft).

Remove the front propeller shaft.

Raise the engine only enough to allow for the removal of the engine mount by using a jack on the square tab at the rear of the engine block.

First, raise and support the vehicle.

Support it using adjustable (screw type) jackstands.

Tighten them to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).

Just enough to allow for the removal of the engine mount.

Place the engine mount back into the vehicle.

Raise and support the vehicle and remove the tire and wheel.

Install the engine mount to the frame mounting bolts through the wheel well, tightening them to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).

Raise the engine only enough to allow for the removal of the engine mount bracket.

Use a jack on the square tab at the rear of the engine block.

First, remove the front engine mount to the engine mounting bolts through the wheelwell, then the rear engine mount to the engine mounting bolts from under the vehicle, and finally, take the engine mount out of the vehicle.

First, raise and support the vehicle.
