How to replace the left engine mount on 2010 Chevrolet Express 3500?

Vehicle elevation along with support is the first step to replace the left Engine Mount. Before the replacement begins start by removing the wheel and tire after extracting the propeller shaft of four-wheel drive automobiles. The Engine Mount should be unbolted from frame attachments through the wheel well while avoiding the use of jacks under the Oil Pan or crankshaft balancer or sheet metal to prevent damage. Support the engine by using adjustable screw-type jack stands after raising it only as high as necessary for removing the mount. Begin the process by taking out the front Engine Mount to the engine mounting bolts through the wheel well followed by removing the rear Engine Mount to its corresponding engine mounting bolts from underneath the vehicle and finishing with the removal of the Engine Mount from the vehicle. Lower the engine after installing the mount between wheel well and frame mounting bolts while tightening them to 60 nm (44 lb ft). Drive through 4wd vehicles require reinstallation of the front propeller shaft while you connect the tire and wheel before bringing the vehicle to its lowered position.
