How to replace the left engine mount on 2007 GMC Savana 2500?

The procedure to change the left Engine Mount begins with supporting and raising the vehicle before removing its wheel assembly. The front propeller shaft must be taken out from 4wd vehicles. When you remove the Engine Mount to frame mounting bolts through the wheel well you need to avoid placing any jacks under the Oil Pan sheet metal or crankshaft balancer to prevent damage. The engine should be lifted just high enough for mount removal while using adjustable screw-type jackstands for support. The front Engine Mount to the engine mounting bolts should be removed from the wheel well before extracting the rear Engine Mount to the engine mounting bolts from under the vehicle. At this point, remove the Engine Mount from the vehicle. First reinstall the Engine Mount within the vehicle followed by fastening the rear Engine Mount to the undercarriage mounting bolts while leaving them loose and finally attach the front Engine Mount through the wheel well but do not tighten the bolts until they reach 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Low the engine while you secure the mount to frame bolts through the wheel well gap before tightening them to 60 n.m (44 lb ft). The front propeller shaft needs to be reinstalled to start the process whereby you can set the tire and wheel back on the vehicle before lowering it.
