How to replace the right engine mount on 2005 GMC Savana 2500?

The first step to replace a right Engine Mount involves raising the vehicle and providing it with support. Extract the Starter and right Exhaust Manifold from the engine compartment. The next step involves unboltng the Engine Mount that secures it to both frame parts. The engine should be raised only to permit Engine Mount removal while using a jack on the square tab at the rear of the engine block. Using a jack under the Oil Pan or sheet metal or crankshaft balancer will result in damage so these areas should be avoided during lifting. Follow next by removing Engine Mount to engine mounting bolts before taking the Engine Mount from your vehicle. Install the Engine Mount to the engine mounting bolts after you set it into the vehicle while tightening them at 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). Lower the engine until you install the Engine Mount at the frame mounting bolts while tightening them to 60 nm (44 ft. Lbs.). The right side Exhaust Manifold and Starter installment must occur prior to lowering the vehicle.
