To repair and service the axle shaft, collect the tools and lift the vehicle. Take out the wheel, stabilizer shaft link and the front wheel drive shaft nut. Loosen the outer tie rod and ball joint. Separate the axle using Hub Spindle Remover. To install you should make sure the retaining ring is in place, replace connections and check fluid and alignment.
