How to replace the fuel level sensor on 2004 Buick LeSabre?

A replacement of the fuel level sensor requires initial removal of the fuel sender assembly together with disconnecting the fuel pump electrical connector. Disembark the fuel level sensor electrical connector retaining clip before breaking the connection between the fuel level sensor electrical connector and the fuel sender cover under it. First remove the retaining clip before squeezing locking tangs to pull out the fuel level sensor. Install the fuel level sensor by placing it correctly then fasten it with the retaining clip. Continually reinstall the fuel level sensor electrical connector and its clip before you can attach the fuel pump electrical connector followed by securing the fuel sender assembly.
