How to install the timing chain and sprockets on 2004 Buick LeSabre?

Before sprocket and Timing Chain installation start by placing the Crankshaft balancer key in the keyway yet keeping it perpendicular or with a slight tilt to the Crankshaft. Start by positioning the Timing Chain onto each sprocket before properly aligning its marks. Then install the Timing Chain followed by Crankshaft sprocket then camshaft sprocket. You can install the camshaft sprocket bolt up to 100 nm (74 ft. Lbs.) and use a torque angle meter (J 36660-A) to provide an extra 90 degrees of torque. Add the Timing Chain dampener to the installation before applying a torque of 22 nm (16 ft. Lbs.) to the Timing Chain dampener bolt.
