To change the inflatable restraint side impact sensor, turn off SIR system. Take out the center pillar lower trim, disconnect the connector, and take off the wiring harness. Wipe the surface to be mounted, fit the new sensor, screw down the fasteners, re-connect the harness and re-fit the trim and then ready the SIR system.
