All-wheel-drive vehicles require a stable elevation and supporting system before sway bar link replacement. Use a wrench to hold the sway bar link while you unscrew its sway bar link nuts so you can remove the sway bar link. Follow the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions when installing the sway bar link nuts after placing the new sway bar link correctly. After vehicle support, tighten nuts to 31 Nm (23 ft. lbs.) followed by vehicle lowering.
