In order to remove the rear compartment lid hinge, open the lid and take it out. Removal of rear shelf trim panel and torque rods. Unscrew the hinge fasteners, and attach the new hinge and fix it. Install the rear compartment lid and the torque rods and, as necessary, reposition them.
