Disconnect both the purge valve solenoid purge line and then disconnect its electrical connector. You must disconnect the purge line from the manifold side of the purge valve solenoid before removing the purge valve solenoid from its bracket. The first step for installation consists of mounting the purge valve solenoid to its bracket. Affix first the purge line to both the manifold side of the purge valve solenoid and to the electrical connector of the same purge valve solenoid. You need to join the purge line with the purge valve solenoid.
