How to replace the rear door check link on 2004 Cadillac SRX?

To install the rear door check link, you have to take out the door trim panel and withdraw the water deflector. Loose the check link bolts and nuts then remove the check link. Install new check link, loosen the nuts and bolts and reassemble water deflector and trim panel.
