Beginning with the removal of door check to body bolt and the check to door nuts follows the removal of the check link from the door. Insert the check link into the door according to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions then install the check link nuts while tightening them to 9 N.m (80 lb in). Fasten the check link arm on the front body hinge pillar bolt as you tighten its screw to 9 N.m (80 lb in.). To complete the process reattach the water deflector while installing the door trim panel.
