How to replace the Fuel Injector Sight Shield on 2004 Cadillac SRX?

The first step to replace the Fuel Injector sight shield requires removal of the cross car brace. First engage the cover/shield from ball studs by pulling it upward at both right rear and left front corners of the engine cover. After that remove the engine cover/sight shield. Position the engine cover/sight shield over the Intake Manifold before pressing it down near the ball studs while ensuring grommets fit properly. Secure the sight shield to its ball studs by pressing it firmly into position against the ball studs, followed by cross-car brace reinstallation.
