  A: Begin lower Intake Manifold replacement by turning off the ignition system and removing the fuel injector sight shield and air inlet duct. The Brake Booster check valve and hose should be disconnected from the Brake Booster while you relocate them to the Intake Manifold. Note the booster hose routing beforehand. Disconnect these parts from the vehicle: purge solenoid valve electrical connector followed by the purge line from the purge solenoid valve and the fuel injector harness electrical connector then finally the Throttle Body electrical connector. First remove the upper Intake Manifold brace bolts (1 and 2) then reposition the brace with the wiring harness.
