  A: To replace the rear sunroof sunshade cable assembly you must open the rear sunshade and off the headliner, center, and rear vent window. Then remove the rear sunshade motor/actuator and the rear sunshade, marking the rear track position to the frame for later reconfirmation. Before unscrewing the rear track assembly, take out the screws and lower the rear track and disconnect the rear track extension from the track before removing the rear extension. Release the drive tube from the track while being very careful to lift the sunshade cable from the barrel end out of the track. Holding the barrel end, you should pull the cable from the return and drive tube of the motor/actuator compartment, after that, you may remove the sunshade cable from the vehicle. During installation, insert the sunshade cable into the drive tube as well as push it further into the motor/actuator compartment.
