How to replace the intermediate exhaust pipe on 2004 Cadillac XLR?

To replace the intermediate pipe, raise and support the car, and then install the adjustable jack stands. Loosen the clamps for the exhaust mufflers and separate the tailpipe/muffler assemblies. Remove lower bolts and nuts, lower the jack stands and remove intermediate pipe. Reinstall the original pipe, making sure it is properly aligned, and tighten all clamps and bolts before lowering the vehicle.
