How to replace the auxiliary heater blower motor resistor on 2004 Chevrolet Astro?

Start replacing the auxiliary heater blower motor resistor by taking off the left body side trim panel and disconnecting its electrical connector. First remove the auxiliary heater blower motor resistor assembly by taking out its retaining screws. After placing the auxiliary heater blower motor resistor assembly into the heater case you must fasten it with screws and tighten them to 2 N.m (18 lb in) per the specifications of Service Precautions Fastener Notice. Reattach the electrical wires and put back the left body side rear trim panel.
