How to replace the auxiliary heater blower motor resistor on 2005 Chevrolet Astro?

Start replacement of the auxiliary heater blower motor resistor by removing the left body side trim panel and disconnecting the electrical connector. Locate and remove the screws securing the motor resistor assembly then take it away from the valve unit. Reassemble the auxiliary heater blower motor resistor assembly by putting it back into the heater case according to the Fastener Notice. Place the left body side panel back after you snugly fasten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in) and reattach the electrical connector.
