How to replace the Ignition Control Module on 2004 Chevrolet Astro?

When replacing the Ignition Control Module begin by removing the engine cover. Use a screwdriver to disconnect the electrical connector then remove the screws which fix the ignition control module and heat sink to their bracket. You should remove first the ignition control module and then the heat sink. Place the ignition control module and the heat sink on the bracket using screws which need to be tightened to 3.5 Nm (31 lb in.). After connection of electrical connectors you will need to put the engine cover in place.
