How to replace the Ignition Control Module on Chevrolet Astro?

Start by removing the engine cover after disconnecting the electrical connector before you can begin the Ignition Control Module replacement. Start by removing the screws holding the ignition control module and heat sink to their bracket. Then extract both components from the bracket. Begin installation by placing ignition control module and heat sink on the bracket with screws. Tighten these screws to achieve 3.5 N.m (31 lb in) torque. After reconnecting both electrical connectors you must install the engine cover.
