Use the J 38417 Speed Sensor Remover tool (J 38417) to uninstall the vehicle speed sensor and its O-ring at the same time. Free the sensor and seal with J 38417 Speed Sensor Remover then install the parts using the same tool together with a drop of transmission fluid on the O-ring. Insert the bolt and secure it at 11 Nm (97 inch lbs.) before joining the harness connector again. End the process by lowering the vehicle and adding the proper amount of fluid.
