How to replace a coolant reservoir on 2004 Chevrolet Aveo?

The first step in surge tank replacement requires draining engine coolant below the tank's base. Start by loosening the overflow hose clamps before disconnecting the tube from the surge tank's highest point. First unfasten the tank attaching nuts then remove the tank from your vehicle. Apply a solution of soap and water to clean both inside and outside parts of the surge tank and its cap before performing a complete rinse. Screw the surge tank into position within the vehicle before tightening the attaching nuts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.). Install the overflow hose leading to the surge tank by tightening hose clamps into place. After finishing with the coolant, it should be added to the surge tank until it reaches the center ridge or the MAX mark.
