The first step in transmission cooler tube and hose replacement is draining transaxle fluid. The first step is to remove the front outlet pipe union bolt alongside the front outlet pipe clip bolt found on the Radiator and later detach the rear outlet pipe clip bolt together with the rear outlet pipe fitting nut located on the transaxle. Take out both fluid cooler outlet pipe and hoses after removing all other components. Secure the fluid cooler rear outlet pipe fitting nut by tightening it to 35 nm (26 ft. Lbs.). Complete installation of the fluid cooler system by adding the rear outlet pipe clip bolt and tightening it to 9 nm (80 inch lbs.). The next step involves installing the front outlet pipe union bolt to the Radiator along with tightening it to 35 nm (26 ft. Lbs.), then installing and tightening the front outlet pipe clip bolt to 9 nm (80 inch lbs.). Finishing the installation requires adding the fluid to the transaxle system.
