    Q:
How to replace the Transmission Oil Cooler Hose on Chevrolet Aveo? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step for transmission cooler pipe and hose replacement involves draining transaxle fluid. Start by unscrewing the front outlet pipe union bolt from the Radiator then proceed with unscrewing both the front outlet pipe clip bolt from the Radiator and the rear outlet pipe clip bolt from the transaxle. First drain the transaxle fluid and afterward remove the transaxle rear outlet pipe fitting nut then take out the fluid cooler outlet pipe together with the hoses. The first step for installation involves fitting the fluid cooler rear outlet pipe fitting nut and torquing it to 35 nm (26 ft. Lbs.). You should then install the fluid cooler rear outlet pipe clip bolt before tightening it to 9 nm (80 inch lbs.). Follow this step by step process to install the front outlet pipe union bolt into the Radiator while tightening it to 35 nm (26 ft. Lbs.) followed by attaching the front outlet pipe clip bolt into the Radiator and tightening it to 9 nm (80 inch lbs.). Add the fluid into the transaxle as the final step.
