How to replace the Transmission Oil Cooler Hose (Inlet) on 2006 Chevrolet Aveo?

A mechanic must first drain transaxle fluid before starting transmission cooler pipe and hose (Inlet) replacement. Remove the radiator threaded connector clip and disconnect the fluid cooler hoses from the connector. The procedure starts with removing the transaxle bolt of the inlet pipe followed by removing the transaxle nut from the pipe then extracting both pipe and hoses. The first stage of installation starts with the fluid cooler inlet pipe fitting nut placed inside the transaxle before tightening it to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.). Attach the transaxle fluid cooler inlet pipe bolt before threading it to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.). After attaching the fluid cooler hoses apply the radiator threaded connector clip. The process ends with lowering the vehicle while filling the transaxle with fluid.
