How to replace the water pump on a 1.4L/1.6L DOHC engine on 2004 Chevrolet Aveo?

Before working on the 1.4l/1.6l dohc coolant pump you need to disconnect the negative Battery Cable and drain the coolant. Untighten the rear timing belt cover while detaching its mounting bolts. Then withdraw the coolant pump with its seal ring. You need to set a new seal ring on the coolant pump then apply lubriplate to its sealing area. Place the coolant pump flange into the recess of the rear timing belt cover and fit it onto the engine block. Put on the coolant pump bolts and tighten them to 10 nm (89 inch lbs). Replace the rear Timing Cover and add engine coolant before replugging the engine battery.
