A Chevrolet Aveo Water Pump is a highly-rated part and serves functions related to proper cooling of the engine that is used in several Chevrolet Aveo models manufactured between the years 2002 to 2020. This essential part pumps anti-freeze through the engine block water jacket where it collects heat from the burning fuel and gases and carries this heat load to the radiator for dispersion. The Chevrolet Aveo Water Pump works to improve on both performance and reliability through maintaining a preferable temperature of the engine to avoid overheating and consequent damages. Our Chevrolet Aveo Water Pump comes in two types; cast iron and lightweight aluminum suited for 1.2 L, 1.4 L, and 1.8 L Ecotec I4 engines. Perhaps it was mechanical or electrical; the later Chevrolets Aveo have electrical that offers less parasitic loss and better cold control thus preferable for high end use. In the performance-oriented designs, the impellers and internal passages are improved and provide much larger amount of coolant throughput that distinguish Chevrolet Aveo Water Pump in the automotive market. Since it suits different Aveo trims perfectly, this water pump not only improves the Lifetime of the car but also the driving experience, and that make it popular among the Chevrolet lovers who are looking for a reliable and efficient automobile.

Chevrolet Aveo Water Pump Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the water pump on a 1.4L LDT/1.6 LXV with variable camshaft phasing on Chevrolet Aveo?
    A:
Before starting work on the coolant pump of a 1.4l ldt/1.6 lxv with variable camshaft phasing users must drain the coolant system. Start by taking off the air cleaner and right-hand head lamp assemblies. Pulling out the a/c pipe retainer lets you move the a/c line. You should use the en-49201 Water Pump Pulley remover/installer tool to free Water Pump bolting before taking off the accessory belt. After securing the engine with the en-48356 fixture and removing the Engine Mount you can take off the Water Pump Pulley. Detach Water Pump retaining bolts first and then pull the Water Pump from its place while marking the ring seal off from the Water Pump. Check for damage to the Water Pump and examine its mating surfaces on the Cylinder Head before cleaning these areas. Insert a new ring seal onto the Water Pump then put the Water Pump onto the engine front before tightening its mounting bolts to 10 nm (89 lb in). Install the Water Pump Pulley together with Engine Mount and accessory belt. Attach the a/c pipe retainer plus install the a/c pipe. Put back both the headlamp assembly on the right and the air cleaner system. Add the needed amount of cooling fluid back into the engine system at the end.
